Race day 5 (Final): European Optimist Championship 2021 Cadiz / ESP

The 5th day at the Opti European Championship was again accompanied by top conditions with wind of about 20kn.

 

I could sail in the race 9 again a top result with a 6th place. But the second and last race did not go well due to a badly calculated wind shift and difficult current conditions. (58th)

I finishes 36th overall ⛵ and remains as the best Swiss sailor woman on the Optimist. 💪

The 2021 Optimist European Championship is Digital!: 

IODA is pleased to announce that the 2021 Optimist European Championship has become digital and paper forms are eliminated making our race office system more efficient and in line with risk mitigation for Covid-19.     With this event IODA introduces the online ‘Sailor Account’ for each competitor, administered by their Coach. Each Coach receives an email after registration with the login credentials for each of their sailors.  The password can be changed at any time for ease of management.  Through each online sailor account it is possible to submit protest forms, make a scoring inquiry, request an equipment change, ask a question and more.    This can also be all done from your smart phone using the IODA APP!   Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask at the Race Office.

Liebe Freunde, Gönner und Sponsoren

Das erfolgreiche Jahr 2020 liegt hinter uns/mir und ich möchte mich bei dieser Gelegenheit ganz herzlich bedanken für das Vertrauen und die Unterstützung durch meine Segelkarriere.

Es war ein spezielles Jahr und trotzdem konnte ich im Jahr 2020 meinen grössten Erfolg feiern.

Den ersten Platz 1. Mädchen Optimist U15 an der Optimist Schweizermeisterschaft in Thun.

Weiter einen 3.Platz für unser Schweizer, in der Team Wertung an den Europameisterschaft 2020 in Portoroz / Slovenien und für mich einen 18 Platz. (bei frühzeitigem Abbruch der EM durch Covid- Einschränkungen)

Auch den Regio Cup der 3. Seen « Coupe trois Lac» konnte ich 2020 zum vierten Mal in Folge als Bestes Mädchen für mich entscheiden.

Nun liegen nochmals intensive Monate im Jahr 2021 vor mir.

Die Ziele sind klar. in den ersten 10% der Europameisterschaft in Cadiz / ESP und......

natürlich wieder die Beste Schweizer Seglerin 2021 U/15 auf dem Optimist. (Schweizermeisterschaft in La Neuveville im Sept. 2021)

Es würde mich ausserordentlich freuen, wenn Ihr mich auch im 2021 nochmals unterstützt und wir hoffentlich dieses Jahr auf einen weiteren Sieg von mir gemeinsam anstossen können.

Great weekend at lake Thun. (Swiss championship of points)

I could not sail with my new boat yet top results but will now work intensively on the detail in the coming week. But also the light wind conditions were challenging. (30 place over all / girls 6 place) Nevertheless, it was a great weekend in a wonderful place that always surprises with incredibly great pictures of the mountains.
